Undergraduate Assistant-Arts and Humanities Office of Student Affairs and Career Engagement
The College of Arts and Humanities Office of Student Affairs is hiring for the Undergraduate Assistant position. Students in our office will gain exposure to a wide variety of experiences and people, and will have the opportunity to work as part of team to provide support and service to ARHU undergrad students. Additionally, students can expect to develop increased workplace experience, experience working as part of a team, and knowledge of campus resources.

Number of Available Openings: 2-3 Total
Number of Hours Needed Per Week: 4-10 hrs per week
Hourly Wage: $15.00
Start date: Late August/early September
Job Description: Job Duties and Responsibilities: Front Desk service for undergrad students, answering phones, electronic file management, typing, scheduling appointments, providing assistance in preparation for various programs, and other general office duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Friendly, professional demeanor
- Strong interpersonal skills Strong computer and clerical skills (Google Drive/Sheets/Docs, ELMS, Microsoft Excel and Word) Familiarity with ARHU and University requirements and policies
- Ability to work well in a busy office setting including heavy call volume at peak times
- Students should have between 15 and 75 total credits ARHU students, with strong GPA’s, are preferred.
Available hours: Monday-Friday (8:30-4:30) with a specific need for Tuesday and Thursday mornings
The College of Arts and Humanities serves 14 academic units, 30 majors and approximately 2500 undergrad students. Students in our office will gain exposure to a wide variety of experiences and people, and will have the opportunity to work as part of team to provide support and service to ARHU undergrad students.
