Join the Maryland Initiative for Literacy & Equity (MILE) for the second annual Dual Language Educator Conference, a conference by and for DL educators- both current and new. The conference will be held at the University of Maryland campus in College Park, Maryland.
Join teachers, school leaders, and district staff for sessions on:

- Novice Teacher Support
- Literacy/Biliteracy
- Program Development
- Content & Language Integration
- Family Engagement
- Assessment
Conference Goals
- Cultivate a network & community of Dual Language Bilingual Education (DLBE) educators & leaders to work toward the four Pillars of DLBE
- Amplify visibility & elevate the voice of the DLBE community centered in equity
- Collaborate with other educators in the DMV to create, develop, & sustain DLBE programs
- Share promising practices, instructional strategies, & experiences that promote equity & quality in DLBE
