Join a panel discussion that explores Otto Nicolai's German Romantic setting of Shakespeare's play, The Merry Wives of Windsor. Often dismissed as lesser by Shakespeare scholars, our panel will make a case for the original work and Nicolai/Mosenthal's adaptation, drawing from musicological, literary and socio-political sources.
