Visual Arts Reverse Career & Internship Fair (Student Registration)

Visual Arts Reverse Career & Internship Fair (Student Registration)
Are you skilled in graphic design, video production, animation and/or immersive media AR/VR? If so, please consider joining the 9th Annual Visual Arts Reverse Career & Internship Fair! Structured as a reverse career fair, 30-40 UMD students talented in graphic design, video production, animation and/or immersive media will display their work. Employers will circulate around the room to meet students, check out their work and pick up resumes. Employers are hiring for part-time (including on-campus) jobs, full-time jobs and internships. A full list will be linked here closer to the event date.
**IMPORTANT: Each student must go through an online asynchronous training prior to the event to ensure they have at least 3 quality work samples, a professional resume and an understanding of the networking process. RSVP here and then watch for a follow-up email with an invitation to complete the required training on ELMS no later than February 19. The training will require you to submit your resume as well as at least 3 high quality work samples (graphic design) or a brief demo reel (video production; animation). If you have any questions about the requirements, please email Kate Juhl at kjuhl@umd.edu. This fair is open to students of all majors, as long as you have demonstrable skills in graphic design, video production, animation and/or immersive media. Recent graduates are also eligible to attend.
