Languages & Intelligence Agencies Networking Breakfast (Student Registration Page)
Do you major in or speak another language? Are you interested in a future career with an intelligence agency? Join us for a special networking breakfast connecting language faculty, students, and intelligence agency recruiters. The breakfast will be held from 9:30-11 am. Brief remarks/introductions will be provided at 9:30 am.
This breakfast is sponsored by the UMD Language House and UMD Arabic & Persian departments. Participating agencies will be shared with registered students closer to the event date.
To foster an optimal networking environment, this event is capped at 35 students. A waiting list will form after 35. Please also see the note about the Language & Global Opportunities Career & Internship Fair below as another great way to connect with intelligence agency recruiters.
*Please note: This event is only for students/recent grads who speak languages other than English AND want to work for intelligence agencies. If you want to work for an intelligence agency and don't speak another language OR you speak another language but don't want to work for an intelligence agency, please check out the broader Language & Global Opportunities Career & Internship Fair, happening the same day from 12-4 pm in the Stamp Student Union. It will feature 30+ employers and include most of the intelligence agencies from the breakfast, as well as a broad list of employers from all industries that value cross-cultural proficiency and/or language skills.
