College of Arts and Humanities | NAACP PLUMAS Saturday, March 12, 2022 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm Presented by NAACP and PLUMAS

This event highlights the solidarity between African and Latinx diasporic communities engaging in anti-imperialist, class struggle. It will also examine how both parties instituted community projects, such as free breakfast programs and health clinics.

Guest Speakers:

Felipe Luciano, co-founder of the New York chapter of the Young Lords

Bobby Seale, co-founder of the Black Panther Party

Co-hosted by the University of Maryland College Park Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the Political Latinxs United for Movement & Action in Society (PLUMAS).
