Book Talk: "Collapse: Israeli Labor Party, 1992-2024"
The book "Collapse: Israeli Labor Party, 1992-2024" examines the evolution of the Israeli Labor Party over the last three decades, during which it gradually lost its central place in Israeli politics. The book traces the political consequences of the failure of the political strategy of the Oslo Accords and the failure of the Labor Party to propose a new social-democratic program for Israel. Analysis of sources, public opinion polls, and exclusive in-depth interviews make Wertman's book an important starting point for discussing fundamental issues of Israeli politics in recent decades.
