Re: New Assistant to the Dean

I am pleased to welcome Chant’e Ingram to her new role as assistant to the dean, effective October 15, 2018. Ingram will provide administrative and management support to me and the Dean’s Office.

Ms. Ingram has nearly two decades of experience in both the nonprofit and private sectors. She has expertly served the administrative and management needs of leaders in the Pew Research Center, The Studio Museum in Harlem, Selfhelp Community Services / NYLAG and elsewhere. She comes to the Dean’s Office most recently from the Democracy Alliance in Washington, D.C., where she was the executive assistant to the president and executive vice president.

Ingram earned her Masters of Divinity from the New York Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

I am grateful to my previous assistant, Chanel Briscoe, who supported me for six years before joining the college’s School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures as their office manager.
