In the midst of our difficult and isolating pandemic, 2019-20 Visiting Artist Michael Mwenso and his band have found a way to transcend social distancing through the release of their new video "Stop Playing Dem Games." While the video was filmed in isolation, the lyrics encourage us with a message of hope and positivity that can help us "carry on" as a society.

Mwenso and the Shakes performed their special project, "Harlem 100," at The Clarice on Oct. 17, 2019.
