Spring Commencement Schedule
Spring Commencement Schedule
Spring Commencement activities will be held on May 19 and 20, 2013. The President will confer degrees at the campus-wide Commencement ceremony, which will begin at 1:00 pm on Sunday, May 19, in the Comcast Center, and will last approximately one and a half hours. Individual ceremonies will be held throughout the campus on Sunday afternoon and Monday.
There will be a full processional at the campus-wide Commencement ceremony in Comcast beginning at 12:15 pm.
For the campus-wide ceremony, you may park in one of the surface lots or the parking garage adjacent to the Comcast Center without a special permit.
Parking on campus for the Sunday afternoon and Monday ceremonies will be free and no special permits are required.

Spring 2013 Commencement Honors criteria:
Students are eligible for Commencement Honors if they meet the following criteria:
· ARHU is the primary major or will have a double degree in an ARHU major
· Have earned at least 60 credits at UM by the end of the graduating semester
· Have a cumulative GPA, prior to the start of the graduating semester, in one of the following credit ranges:
Summa Cum Laude 4.000
Magna Cum Laude 3.999 - 3.932
Cum Laude 3.931 - 3.823
