Arts for All | College of Arts and Humanities | The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center Thursday, February 5, 2026 6:15 pm - 6:45 pm Kay Theatre, The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center

About the Event

In 1994, choreographer, dancer and director Bill T. Jones made history with his work Still/Here, a performance piece that used dance, video, photos, music and more to tell the stories of people grappling with terminal illness. Now, over 30 years after the work first premiered during the AIDS epidemic, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company will perform the work at The Clarice. Ahead of the company's February 5 performance, join UMD Professor and Smith Chair of Dance, Dance Performance and Scholarship Maura Keefe, original Still/Here cast member Larry Goldhuber and Bill T. Jones himself for a conversation about this historic work.

Please note: tickets are required for admission to the 7:30PM Still/Here performance. The conversation originally scheduled for Wed, Feb 4 has been cancelled.
