Masterful Strings: Stephanie Chase, violin

Known internationally for her prowess as both a soloist and chamber musician, violinist Stephanie Chase has had an illustrious career that has brought her to the stage with over 170 orchestras across the globe, including solo performances with the New York, London and Hong Kong Philharmonics and the Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta, Baltimore and London Symphony Orchestras. Join us as Chase and pianist Sara Davis Buechner present a recital of classical and romantic works, including pieces by Mozart, Strauss and Rachmaninoff.

Richard Strauss: Sonata in E-Flat Major, Op. 18
Joaquin Turina: Selections from Sonata No. 2, Op. 82, "Espagnola"
Sergei Rachmaninoff (Trans. Stephanie Chase): Cello Sonata in G Minor, Op. 19 - Andante
Fritz Kreisler: Liebesfreud (Love’s Joy)
Jean-Delphin Alard: 16 Morceaux de salon, Op.49 - Brindisi-valse
