Maryland Metropolitan Education Expo (MMEE)
The Maryland Metropolitan Education Expo (MMEE) connects students with school districts and education-related employers looking to hire for full-time and part-time jobs and internships. At our last in-person event, over 50 school systems and organizations attended the Expo, with representation from most Maryland counties as well as the District of Columbia, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Pennsylvania, New York and other surrounding states.
MMEE is comprised of two parts:
- Career Fair (9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.): An opportunity for students to meet and network with school recruiters to learn more about school systems and organizations. Students from DMV area universities are welcome.
- On-Site Interviews (UMD Students Only) (1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.): The Expo allows students to interview with school systems and organizations for anticipated teacher and education-related vacancies.
UMD students can submit resumes in advance of the event to be considered for interview time slots, however, all candidates can inquire about available interview slots with participating districts/organizations during the career fair portion of the event.
This event is open to all UMD students and alumni as well as to students and alumni from other DMV area schools with relevant career interests/backgrounds.
