About the Event

Life After the Gunshot, Ep. 1 sheds light on the harsh realities of living in Washington, D.C., through the lens of Life After the Gunshot, Ep. 2 expands the examination of the causes and consequences of violent injury and incarceration to include their impact on family relationships and the community. Set in Oak Cliff, TX, this episode follows the love story couple building a life in the aftermath of violence and against the headwinds of the challenges that face their community.

This film is produced by filmmakers Joseph B. Richardson, Jr., PhD (director of PROGRESS at the University of Maryland) and Ché Bullock, CEO of C. Bullock & Associates LLC.
