Communication Speed Mentoring Night

College of Arts and Humanities | Communication Wednesday, March 6, 2024 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm Hornbake Library, South Wing, Room 3135

Communication Speed Mentoring Night is a special event for Communication majors that allows students to meet one-on-one with several industry professionals/alumni over the course of the evening.

This event is only for Communication majors (double majors are welcome). Please make sure you have your Communication major listed on your Handshake profile in order to be approved for this event.

Requirements

Space is very limited, so please be sure to RSVP. Students should dress in business casual attire and bring multiple copies of their resume. Ahead of time, be sure to meet with a career advisor in the UCC@ARHU (schedule appointments through Handshake with Caroline Bodnar or Kate Juhl) OR submit your resume to be reviewed via our resume drop here.

Given the expected high demand for this event, we will be enforcing our no show policy. If you find you cannot attend this event, please contact Julie Gowin immediately at gowin@umd.edu so that someone from the waiting list may take your spot. If you fail to attend this event, we will charge your student account $10 to recover some of our lost costs.
