ARHU has launched a new campaign to address race, equity and justice in its curriculum, scholarship, programming and community engagement. As part of the goal to increase awareness of issues of systemic racism, equity and inequality, Dean Bonnie Thornton Dill will host a yearlong colloquium and conversation series featuring ARHU faculty experts. It will also encourage dialogue centering ideas for social action and change.
This colloquium features Tamanika Ferguson, a presidential postdoc in the Communication Department at Maryland, who will discuss incarcerated women and media activism.
