Jessica Weiss

Jessica uses storytelling to highlight the accomplishments and research of the College of Arts and Humanities’ students, faculty, staff and alumni. She previously worked as a journalist in audio, print and digital media, with bylines in outlets from The New York Times to Ms. Magazine. She is a proud ARHU alum (history and Spanish), having earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland; she also holds a master’s in journalism from Georgetown University. When not researching or writing, she’s usually trying to keep up with her two young kids, getting creative in the kitchen or tending her garden.
