Academic Planning and Mandatory Advising

Academic Planning

You will develop your academic plan with your major and college advisors.  The College of Arts and Humanities academic plans can be found here.

Mandatory Advsing

The following students have mandatory advising with their major and college advisors prior to registering for the upcoming semester:  

• Students in their first semester on campus
• Students who have earned between 45 and 55 credits
• Students who have earned between 86 and 100 credits

Please note that some departments require advising with the major advisor each semester.  All students are invited to meet with an advisor whenever they have questions about course selection, registration, academic and professional planning or any other advising issue.
