Bios

Christine Goding-Doty is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Africana Studies at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Christine received her PhD from the Department of African American Studies at Northwestern University. The main concern of her research is the concept of whiteness in the digital age which she explores from the intersection of critical philosophy of race, new media studies, and affect theory.

Tung-Hui Hu is the author of three books of poetry, most recently Greenhouses, Lighthouses (2013), and a study of digital culture, A Prehistory of the Cloud (2015). A fellow of the American Academy in Berlin and the NEA, his research has been featured by CBS News, BBC Radio, New Scientist, and Art in America. He is an associate professor of English at the University of Michigan.
