Progress and Harmony for Mankind: Art and Technology circa 1970 focuses on the theme of American artists using technology in the years around 1970. Major lenders to this exhibition include the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, National Gallery of Art, and Whitney Museum of American Art, among others. This exhibition is curated by Department of Art History and Archaeology doctoral candidate Michael L. Vetter, and is supported in part by the Dorothy and Nicholas Orem Exhibition Fund as well as a generous grant from the Maryland State Arts Council. 

An opening reception will be held on January 31, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
